Events and Celebrations
To inculcate in students the appreciation an respect for India’s rich heritage culture and diversity and also to reinforce in them national pride and respect for all gender, caste, creed, religion and sects, the school celebrates a number of national as well as religious festivals including Holi, Christmas Day, Eid, RakshaBandhan, Independence Day, Republic Day etc
Besides these, some important days are also celebrated with pomp and gaiety. This includes Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Annual Fest, Mother’s Day etc.
Inter House Events
At RIS, we organiseseveral inter-house sporting as well as non-sporting events. The points earned by the winners are added to the House points. At the end of the academic year, the Cock House Trophy is given to the winning house. These events help to develop team-spirit and a sense of belonging among the students.
