Library
The staff and students of RIS can utilize the services of library as per the instruction of the librarian and norms of school.
The school has a well stocked library containing reference books, periodicals, encyclopedias and online journals along with a reference book section to implant reading habits in pupils.
Laboratories
The school has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology besides an English lab functions to enrich the proficiency of English Language.These Labs provides opportunities to students in scientific and experimental concepts and in developing investigative skills.
Lingua Franca
English as a foreign language
The English lab functions to brush up the English language proficiency in children . The lab is Equipped with latest softwares that tunes up children with high standard English, fluency, intonation , standard pronounciation,native English accent, phonetics etc are the major components.
German Language Proficiency
A Training for German language proficiency is also conducted for classes IV to VI
Hobbies & Sports
A wide range of co-curricular activities are being offered to the students to ensure their wholesome all-round development. Their hobbies are incorporated into Academic Time-Table where by they have an opportunity to learn the basic of these skills by being exposed to them regularly.
Computer Labs
Computer Science is a compulsory subject in the school & computer labs offer a lot of scope for all children to acquire hands-on-training. All students from class 1 onwards learn computer language and operations. Computer education begins right from Nursery. In the lower classes, computers are also be used as a means to learn other subjects. The computer labs also facilitate senior students to acquire programming skills
Maths Lab
This lab creates an environment for student learning by doing. It is all about learning, verifying and visualizing mathematical concepts in a fun way. The Multiple teaching and learning aids comprises technology applications, measuring instruments, tables, charts and many more. One learns better and faster by practically doing things.
Activity Room
The core idea of activity room in KG section is to engage the kids by providing then an
environment that induces joy, happiness & creativity. Kindergarten is a phase of introducing children to
fundamental learning through the medium that is engaging, less straining and more recreational in nature.
The interior of this room is designed keeping the little ones in mind. Their inquisitive and eager eyes get the
feel of things fresh & attractive.
Children's Play Area
Play area is full of creative activities, where learning through play happens and in
turn leads to a healthy development. The idea of outdoor learning is to make a child more receptive by
allowing the children to meet, play and interact with each other. The children through play explore areas that
help stimulate development in a variety of skill areas including, language, social, emotional, physical and
thinking skills
The play area is highly safe and child-friendly play zone equipped with non-toxic play equipment. In Kid’s play
area, the children are kept in a clean, secure and beautiful surrounding, to provide them a safe and
comfortable learning environment.
Counselling Cell
At RIS, the counselling cell develops and implements a programme of guidance and
counselling services, which includes a description and definition of the activities along with a strategy to
prevent school failure, bullying and other risky behaviour.
Counselling includes, in particular:
- Providing support measures to the pupils with special educational needs;
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of selected support measures
- Preventing the school failure;
- Career guidance integrating educational, informational, and advisory support for a suitable choice of an educational pathway and following professional career;
- Support for the education and the social inclusion of pupils from different cultural backgrounds and with different living conditions
- Continuous and long-term care for pupils with educational or learning difficulties and the creating a favourable social climate for accepting cultural and other differences in school and school facilities; g. the early intervention of current problems for individual pupils and class groups
- Prevention of all forms of risky behaviour, including various forms of bullying and discrimination
- Continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of prevention programmes implemented by the school
- Methodological support for teachers in the use of psychological and special pedagogical procedures in the educational activities of the school
- Cooperation and communication between the school and parents/representatives
- Cooperation of the school in providing counselling services with school guidance and counselling facilities
Conference Hall
The School has a large Conference Hall which accommodates approximately 200 guests.
The Hall is used as a venue for a variety of activities, ranging from educational seminars and lectures to
creative and fun activities.
The area allows guests to offer presentations and speeches and is used for visiting lecturers. Equipment
including a laptop with internet access, a projector, a DVD and video player is provided to support educational
activities. In addition, these facilities are made available to classes during the academic year so students can
develop their presentation and oral skills in professional surroundings.
Smart Classrooms
In today’s world, quality education is critical. One must keep up with the fast-paced
environment and increasing competition. Educational standards, developments, and inventions have risen
dramatically in recent years. Our school has adapted current teaching methods through interactive intelligent
boards and projectors. On the brighter side, this smart technology advancement helps teachers turn boring
lectures into engagement sessions.
