Welcome Message from the Desk of the Principal

Dear Parents, Students, and Members of the RIS Community,

It is both a privilege and an honor to address you as the new Principal of Rana International School, Amroha.

For the past 15 years, Rana International School has built a proud legacy of excellence, nurturing young minds and establishing a strong foundation in our community. Standing upon this firm bedrock, my vision is to lead RIS into its next chapter of growth—elevating our standards and establishing our school as a premier benchmark brand in holistic education.

A Legacy of Leadership & Continuous Growth

I step into this role carrying a rich journey of 34 years in education across dynamic schools in Calcutta, Mumbai, Shimla, and Roorkee, including 22 years of leadership as a Principal. Education, however, is a journey of lifelong learning. To ensure our school remains at the forefront of modern educational practices, I recently completed a Strategic Leadership Training at IIM Ahmedabad, bringing fresh, innovative approaches to empower our dedicated faculty. Furthermore, recognizing the rapidly evolving technological landscape, I undertook an Artificial Intelligence course at IIT Kharagpur to help prepare our school and students to seamlessly keep up with the times.

My lifelong passion for the co-curricular realm also deeply influences my vision for school life. Having completed my music certifications with CSM – Calcutta (ABRSM London) and honed my dramatic arts skills under the guidance of Phyllis Bose at The Assembly of God Church School, Calcutta, I firmly believe that music, theatre, and stage performance bring vibrant life, soul, and energy to a campus.
